The Border region of the US and Mexico is a Pandemonium. A corrupt string of private concentration camps, abuse, and constant surveillance. Poor people on both sides struggle to survive. I taught at Western New Mexico University from 2010 to 2016, before moving back to Washington State to be closer to my daughters. This is the (still) photography work I did then, although most of it was turned into visual storytelling with time-lapse.
